    Thats actually less than what i was expecting, £1000+ was my bet. You'd never catching me spending that much though, i was pushing the boat way out with the E6600

    Fairly cheap. For such a premium CPU. The price for the top-end is usually very high.

    I would definately not pay that for a CPU. But normally the high end CPUs cannot in reality justify the price. In this case, they may do for some...
