    Shuttle Parts

    Hi Guys,

    sorry for the vast amount of threads tonight i seem to be on a mission with my credit card!!

    i've decided to build a media PC with a shuttle (SN45G)which i've just bought off Knoxville (cheers mate ), so i need to get some parts for it.

    i need to get a new mobo (with onboard gfx) and CPU but i have no idea what to get.

    Has to be cheap as possible though

    Main PC     - See 'My System'
    Server - Athlon XP 1700+, 1GB, 500GB HD
    Laptop - Compaq AMD Turion 64 X2, 60GB HD, 1GB
    Media Centre Shuttle - P4 3.0 Skt 775 Shuttle, 1GB, 120GB HD
    NAS - 400GB
    Home Entertainment - Xbox 360 with 37" HD LCD TV, Acoustic Energy Aegis EVO A speakers (5,1), Yamaha RXV359 AV reciever
    Media Centre II - X2 4000+, 1GB, 400Gb Vista Ultimate

    I dont know that you can get new mobos for shuttle's, isnt the whole point they come with it? Have you just got the case?

    swap the motherboard? are you joking? you need to go get a cheap agp graphics card and an athlon xp.

    scan no longer do socket a proccy's so id go looking on ebay for one

    bah, iv got an sn45g with a 6600gt and a XP2500+ i cant shift too

    Processor wise - post an add in the Wanted Section - I'm sure they'll be someone with a mobile 2500+ or something...

    As to graphics cards, 6800 if you really want to game, 6600 if your not fussed, x850 if you like ATi

    just because the mobo is made by shuttle doesnt mean it will fit in a shuttle case.. they make atx/matx boards aswell
