    Need help overclocking my CPU

    I have a Gigabyte K8NS Ultra-939 Motherboard and an AMD Athlon 64 3000+ processor and have no clue on how to over clock it and could use some assistance anyone out there able to help?

    Before you do anything, make sure you have doen your research. Juts google overclocking (I believe the extremeoverclocking forums are very good for this). Overclocking is a potentially very dangerous thing to do, as it can result in damage to expensive componants.

    If you're using Gigabyte board, just avoid using these dividers,
    2/1.33
    2/1.66
    ....otherwise you'll need +0.05v-0.1v more voltage to make your cpu run stable. I don't know why though
