    ram

    was wondering is there a real life diffrence between lets say value ram and medium range and top of the range??
    i need to get some dual channel ram and was wondering which to get for my A8N SLI DELUXE
    3800+ VENICE
    X800 GTO

    i havent got tons of cash to play with do i got 1gb or 2gb ? 2x 512 2x 1gb 4 x 256 ???

    the amd64 chips will happily play nice with a divider, so i would say to get the corsair value select, unless you plan on overclocking, but even then, the benefits are marginal.

    as clunk says plus 2gb is better for some games and will also become the norm for vista should you be thinking of going down that route...

    so the more the merrier , but there isnt much diff between the expensive and cheapo stuff? then ?

    not much difference really, get 2 gig of value select and save some cash.
