RAM upgrade ?

I am thinking of upgrading my 1GB of ocz RAM to 2GB, is this RAM anygood, i know timings are a bit rubbish, does this make too much difference?

the ram is ok nothing special have you thought about looking on ebay a 2gb kit of some good quality cas2 would proabaly set you back about the same also a few people on the forums have been selling 2gb kits recently

Looks good to me, especially considering the current RAM prices but as danroyle said, look for a second hand kit. Most come with lifetime warranties anyway.

I picked up 2gb of ocz platinum ram from the forums for £115 and like nightshadow says stuff like that comes with a lifetime warranty. Plenty of equivalent high performance kits floating about these days and you can then sell your old stuff to recoupe a bit of money.

yeah i have bought and sold numerous sets from ebay only set that i got that was dodgy was from some german ******* sold me some twinmos with lifetime warranty that were faulty conatcted twinmos and the kit he sold me never had a lifetime warranty

so buy from uk sellers or these forums i got 2gb ocz from here about a month back but then went to ddr2 a week later so sold them on already
