    sock 370 celeron temps

    hi overclocking a 370 celeron, its 1.3 ghz, so im guessing its a tualatin, any idea what temp i should stay below so i dont fry it?

    Yes it will be a Tualatin.. mine reboots the machine when it gets into the high 40s - anything over 48c is a no-no. But it is a 1.0A oc'ed to 1.4.. maybe that has something to do with it.

    In theory your 1.3 should go to 71c max..

    well its currently 1.3 @ 1.5, its at 50C currently, and no probs, thinking maybe of goin to 1.6 but not sure if thatll be too much for it

    The 1.3 isn't the best overclocker so you might be out of luck - some struggle to do 1.5, others do 1.6 or 1.7

    Forgot to say mine is vid-pinned to run at 1.65 vcore which has perhaps lowered its heat tolerance hence the reboots at 48+ for me. With default vcore I could only clock to ~1.24GHz.

    ok 1.600 Vs I get 1.5 with ease, but is a bit hot, thinking of investing in some more fans, getting some 1.65V loving and getting it up to 1.6 or so
