Hehe, I know the feeling! Still have my sub on the floor...takes up valuable space on the desk, but each to their own

some good headphones will sort that problem out

I use a nice old wooden desk ... but I didn't have to pay for it ...or my previous desk come to think of it - find a friend who works for a place that repossesses/recycles/swaps-out business furniture. Much sturdier desks for businesses than in the home section!

I've got some crappy barely-standing wooden thing here, but at home i have an awesome massive desk bought from ikea a few years back, its long enough for about 3 computers woop

I have the wonderful desk that's in my uni flat



It's an alright desk, but as with the sound issuses I have my sub on the desk (although it's tiny..behind that deckchair!) as the people on the floor below came up to complain...which if I lived anywhere else I would just crank the music up, but I don't feel like being kicked out of my flat for the sake of bass. I also use headphones.

Office desks generally are much better than ones you buy for the home, I have a few back at home, big sturdy things, great desks.

Desk 1: Michael or summit, 35 squids. bit of a tight squeeze with all monitors on there, but it holds up room enough for 4 pcs underneath too

Desk 2: Har har, my ikea super-king-size bed and ikea lack table costs 9 squids. Easily able to hold the dell until i can get my wall mount

I've got a 200x90cm glass top from Habitat and a couple of trestles to hold it all up....huge amount of desk space, but it takes up a lot of room (funny that).
