    2.1 speakers

    in a way im looking to downgrade, ive got http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/Produ...oductID=138858

    and there on there last legs, and i want to get a good quality set of 2.1's, any one got or heard anything about these?

    btw there going to be connected to an x-fi soundcard, and if at all possible to my 360

    I'm seriously considering getting those for my Uni Room - I listened to the previous versions, and they were very good, not sure on the new ones, but if they are THX certified they aren't going to be poor...

    yeh, i was thinking along the same lines what with the THX and all, also, im sorta looking forward a bit, cause (well fingers crossed!) in 6/7 months il be off to uni! with all my junk! and wud be nice not to have to cart a 5.1 set around/and i prob wudnt have room for them!

    Yup, theres no way I'd get my Home Cinema set in the room, so they seemed like a good compromise (though only 200w, versus the 600 of my Panasonic 5.1 set)

    lol yeh i know wat u mean about the HD t.v front, im needed to replace an ageing old school 21 inch sony t.v, it used to be my grans so its at least 15/20 years old! and with my xbox 360 im looking at a 23/maybe 26 inch HD t.v so far the samsung is looking the likely contender

    I tried those out, but I then bought, and recommend instead, the Altec Lancing MX5021 have a look here http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/Produ...oductID=112146 and also check out their reviews in lots of places.

    For me, the sound quality is way better...
