    Shuttle Mobo Upgrade?

    Hi Peeps

Been running a shuttle sn45 for a while now as a download/media centre PC, recently upgraded it to Vista RC1 and it runs a bit poo to be honest.

its an old socket a mobo i was thinking of buying a barton 3200 for it but they seem to be priced quite highly for an old cpu.

so my question. can you buy new motherboards for the shuttle chasis that will fit as intended without any modding. im guessing the answers no but i thought id ask the peeps in the know.....see what i did there

    Cheers in advance

    Curfish

nah you can't upgrade a shuttle motherboard as they are specially designed for the case they are fitted into. i just bought a new shuttle because my old one is outdated.bummer.
