    Is my CPU cooler enough?

I'm currently trying to acquire a Athlon64 X2 4200 S939 cheaply on eBay so I have dual core for Vista (I can't afford a Core2Duo with new motherboard and new DDR2 RAM for quite a while).

What I want to know is if my current Akasa Evo 33 will be enough to cool it? It's currently cooling a Athlon64 3700 and doing a fine job of it. At minimum speed the CPU is at 35C, after light-to-reasonable usage. Has anyone used an Evo 33 to cool a CPU like the X2? Do X2s output a lot more heat?

    Thanks.

Don't know to be honest - haven't used either - but I would have expected that to work fine, no problem at all (as long as you don't overclock much).

Maybe someone could post whether the 4200+ is really hot because I am considering one myself...

Edit: just googled and apparently the Evo 33 is suitable for Athlon64 FX's, I think any FX has always been hotter than the 4200+ (especially if you get one of the 65nm ones, scan have them).
