    New PC Build

    Hi guys... first post!
Anyway, I'm in the middle of buying parts for my new system. I waited a bit for the Conroe prices to drop... and I just can't wait any longer.
I currently have a 2.8 GHz P4, sold my X850 Pro AGP and am using my 9200, and sold my Corsair RAM and am using generic Ultra RAM.

Anyway, I want a new PC. To make thing worse, the SATA on my current motherboard, Asus P5P800, just died.. and I'm forced to use my IDE drive, whereas all my info in on my other SATA drive.

So that's basically that. I need suggestions for parts... I have a watercooling setup that I have yet to test in a computer (but have leak-tested it... for the past 4 days..), and I'm going to be overclocking.

I'm sure of one thing, an e6400. I will probably keep my current case...
As for the motherboard, I initially wanted to go with a Asus P5B-E, but the DS3 overclocks more. But I don't think I will need a 500 MHz FSB with a 8x multiplier... seems unrealistic.

So I need some advice, and would appreciate it. My budget for this project is about $1300 CAD. I believe that directcanada.com has the lowest prices on everything, I'll be doing my shopping there.

I will also probably get some TeamGroup RAM from DirectCanada.

So, I would like some help with choosing a motherboard, a power supply, RAM (have no clue about that), and I'll probably go with a X1950 Pro.

    Thanks!

DS4 might be worth looking at. Personally, I think P5b-e sounds great.

Well, I tried looking around, and did not see it in any online store... I also had trouble finding a real review, but after going over the stats on the Gigabyte page, I only found out that it supports CrossFire and has a thermal solution like the DQ6, but nothing about its overclockin abilities.
Either way I probably would not be able to get it...
I'm still stumped on a PSU though.

    EDIT
What RAM pair should I get? Both Team Xtreem 2x1 GB RAM, my two options are:

    PC2-6400 4-4-4-10 for $321
    PC2-5300 3-3-3-8 for $312
$9 difference, what's the performance diff?

    Thanks a lot
I've heard and read that the DS3 is an awesome OCer, however I just read an article where the DS3 only got 440 FSB compared to 520 from the P5B-E on an e6300... I'll see how it goes, I think they messed up somewhere with their OCing..

Hoorah, all parts except for my RAM has arrived.
The DS3 mobo is revision 1, the e6400 is week 31.
And I will put it together and see if it OCs well.
