Looking for a scanner that supports XP x64

    Hi all,

As the title says, I'm looking for a flatbed scanner for my folks for Christmas. It doesn't have to be anything flash, just a basic one will do, so long as I can get 64-bit drivers for it as they run XP Pro x64. Is anyone using such a device on 64bit Windows?

    Thanks in advance,
    8bit

My Epson RX620 worked fine in xp64. Granted it's a multi-function thingymebob, but if Epson can get one of those things working, I'm sure they can get a simple scanner going. Have a look at their website for something you fancy, then check for drivers.

Thanks a lot mate, just ordered an Epson V100. About the same price as the Canon I'd been looking at but better spec and features and the Epson site clearly offers an x64 driver download so no hoping for the best on Christmas morning!

    Cheers
