Pairing Memory! on nForce 2

Ihave just thought...due tobuilding my girlfriends PC, I put a stick of my Infineon memory in that PC (512 PC2700)

Then I swapped some Twinmos with Knoxy, and then did a deal with Deckard where he had one stick of it.

Which means my nForce system instability( other thread, ref Catalysts) has 2 different sticks of memory in it.

Both good makes....Twin Mos and Infineon...

is that bad? or does it not matter one jot?

Very very rarely will cause a problem. If there is a problem, nearly all the time is due to one of them being faulty anyway.
Run memtest86 on them (www.memtest86.com) - if there is any errors, this should show it up.
If your really worried, just dont run in Dual DDR mode (use slots one and two )
