It's OCZ stuff with a new heatspreader, should be great RAM if the red heatspreader is worth the money to you.

Strange. I've never had a problem with them. Products are always on time, always well packaged and in working condition etc. I assume the problem isn't with overclock.co.uk, rather than Overclockers. Never ordered from them before, so I don't know whether they're any good.

www.overclock.co.uk and www.over-clock.co.uk are both fantastic.

Wouldn't go near Overclockers with a 100ft barge pole. Put it this way, I believe mentioning Hexus is a bannable offence on their forums, as is mentioning any other vendor or poor service you may or may not have received from them.

I'll let you draw your own conclusions.

    Cheers,
    Stephen

It can't be that bad surly, it's not as if there is a war between hexus that uses scan or what ever forum site that use ocuk.
and anyway they can't be that bad as you say, they would not be in business if they were that terrible.
Plus they have a better range of RAM imo in the fact they have different brands.
I will buy RAM from them unless scan has a good deal on dominator stuff, or another series of RAM.

Dont take our word for it, buy stuff from them and keep your fingers crossed that they dont send you b-grade/second hand/damaged goods as new ones, and then completely ignore you when you complain about it.

Overclockers are good if you don't need support.... otherwise they are pathetic.

You'll probably be told to do that by Overclockers anyway.

They told me to do that with a faulty monitor I bought 3 years or so ago and I've never bought from them since, even when they were the only retailer with whatever I wanted in stock.

    Cheers,
    Stephen

I'm bored of this OcUK thing. Yeah, they've not got a reputation, but it always seems to be the same guys who've got the problem with them. The Ebuyer forums aren't any different in not allowing rival names, and you could hardly blame OcUK from not allowing Hexus.net - even some members of this forum were even questioning the Hexus.net close link to Scan.co.uk recently. I know this wasn't how the whole OcUK-Hexus thing started, but meh.

Scan.co.uk offer unparalleled support within this very forum, and as such are understandably well spoken for. OcUK are seen as enemies to some. Yet of the roughly equal dealings I've had with both, I'd say OcUK were better. I've had 2 issues with Scan.co.uk (no RMA's used) and none with OcUK, and I needed 1 RMA.

Personally I prefer Scan.co.uk, as we can easily approach them in their sub-forum here, and of course we really appreciate the free shipping they grant us, but OcUK aren't exactly the work of Satan...

Anyway, no company I've ever dealt with even comes close to that of KustomPCs. They're in a total league of their own.
