What is the Best PSU for £70?

Ok so ive read the Best Bang for the Buck PSU thread but i know there are more PSU's out there than those listed, so really i would like you to tell me what's the best PSU i could get for £70? possibly £80 as its a PSU

I was thinking Corsair 520W? But im not sure about it.
I need a PSU that has good Wattage, reliable, safe, quality PSU that does what it says on the tin. I was thinking about the Hiper 580W but ive read alot of post's about them blowing up, thats ok but they all seem to take the Mobo with them

ive owned my HIPER for about a year never had a problem with it A* PSU

Taigan black labels are pretty good and are avaialble from PC world for about 60 quid.

They are really quiet and modular

lol im not bothered about how it looks really it cant really be seen as it will be covered by a HDD cage, i just want higher efficiency better rails. Just the best PSU possible.

Thank you i thought the Corsair would be the one to go for.

The Corsair series PSUs for the under £100 mark are HEAD and SHOULDERS above anything else on offer.

I may not have the 'bling factor' but, what good is bling when the Power just isnt there.

Buy the Corsair (if not the 500W Enermax Liberty is excellent value at the moment and is also a better unit than the Hiper).

The XCLIO you mentioned is also a great PSU but seriously, the two above just edge it.

Well I'm getting a corsair because I know nothing about PSUs and most expert members say they are the best, but I have a sneaking suspicion that as long as you not going to OVERLOAD it, any good make would do say over £35.
Same arguments getting a hi-fi amplifier i.e. this £1000 amp is superior to a £750 amp on tests, but in the real world no one could tell the difference.
If I knew some one working in the rejects dept would also base my buying decision on the make with the least rejects.

A thought:-
Lets face it Hiper, Antec etc are not dumb and how difficult is it to make a power supply erm must have been used since electricity was invented, now if Corsair came out with something revolutionary they would buy one test it and take it apart to see if they could equal or better it, for same or cheaper price.

80% of the time you probably wont notice the difference between a avg PSU and a good one (except perhaps the noise) , but its the 20% of times when they blow, taking a couple of hundred squid's worth of stuff with them that really make the difference, its a bit like insurance, you don't appreciate it until something goes wrong...

Its just at the moment the Corsairs are fantastic.
