Hi all,

I need to replace my old 5400rpm 40 gig hard drive with something faster. Space isn't too much of an issue as I've never filled this drive let alone anything bigger. So, I was thinking of just getting a 7200 rpm drive with an 8 meg cache, but then I thought about the WD Raptor 10k rpm sata drives. I could get a 36gig drive for about £90 which seems ok for the speed. However, would my shuttle boot from this drive? I realise that I'd need a PCI sata controller card, but would the PC be happy booting from this drive?

Any help/advice greatly appreciated!!!
