Case

I've been looking around case reviews for a few days and haven't really got anywhere.

Could you guys give me suggestions for a case which fits these requirements:

< £100
Mid Tower / Tower
Good for cooling, but do not intend to water-cool
Fairly wide - can fit noctua NH-U12F [155mm] (http://www.noctua.at/main.php?show=p...ts_id=6&lng=en)
A window would be nice, but is not essential

I realize that cases are fairly subjective, so if you tell me anything that fits the above requirements i'll have a look at them and see if i like their looks.

For info, here are the specs of the components that are going to be inside:

E6600
Asus P5B Deluxe
Corsair 6400 2x1024 dominator
Sapphire X1950PRO 256MB
Western Digital 250GB SATA 300 (WD2500KS)
Samsung DVD±RW (SH-S182D)
Corsair 620W

Happy to hear any comments.

Another vote for the Eclipse-62.

It's very spacious, and the cooling's awesome... plus you can get a 'Maxi-View' side panel if you want a window.

I'll throw the Jeantech Phong 2 into the mix - CustomPC love it and it only costs £50 from PC World.

Not sure about the noctua NH-U12F size issue but it fits my Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro just fine.
No window though.

Coolermaster Centurion 5

It's a bit cheaper than the alternatives, but it's plenty wide, and the mesh front gives very good cooling.

Was looking into the mentioned akasa eclipse 62 on the akasa website - and spotted the mirage 62.

Looks better than the eclipse, is wide, future-proof, has good reviews from http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/Akasa/Mirage62/5 and http://www.xtremecomputing.co.uk/rev...?id=284&page=6 and it's (just) in budget.

Just got to shop around now for the best price.

Have any of you guys heard anything bad about the Akasa's Mirage-62?

Just got myself a mirage-62 this week, great case. Its basically the hummer of pc cases. Great build quality and i love the all black interior. The front panel style is either something you'll like or not but i like the style.

Good choice (I have the Eclipse btw).

Why don't you ask Scan to put it on Today Only?

I too, was cotemplating buying an akasa mirage 62. But now that I read the good review about the jentech phong 2 case, I'm not really sure about spending roughly 100 quid on it.

e.g.

"Dear The Man Who Can

Please can you put LNXXXX (part name) on Today Only. I would like this item on Today Only immediately if not sooner

Sadly Vbulletin doesn't support a custom EMAIL tag to support this, and html is disabled on the site, otherwise I probably would already have done this

The Mirage is an updated Eclipse 62, pretty much the same case with a different (improved) front door. I was seriously considering it, but have decided on Antec P180.
Try to make each and every day the best it can be.

***I've been looking around case reviews for a few days and haven't really got anywhere***

erm well I have the same problem too for something about £50, I don't care about it being light or fancy looking, just a good case that is spacious, well designed and easy release for the side panel and drives. Is a £100 case that much better than a £50 case w/o psu.
I'll probably get the jeantech as it is all confusing below £50 with so many brands and cheapies.
