The Jeantech Phong2 is such good value for money a great well designed case that has everyfeature i would want. Its so quiet and i enjoy its suttle looks baargain
The Phoong as a stop gap for the Lian Li or go the Mirage now.
I just built my new system based on the Lian Li A10B with 8800GTX and the Abit AW9D Max mobo. It fits perfectly, the 8800 still has quite a few centimetres clearance. The exhaust fan above the 8800 pumps out a lot of the excess heat that the 8800 produces. Idles at 52 with the fan 58 without.
I have also built a similar system for a m8 with the mirage of the 2 the Lian is better both in quality and ease of build.
However £186 for a case I must have been mad
One provision if you ever end up buying the Lian li dont get the Striker 680i there is not enough clearance for the top blower fan and the mosfet passive cooling on the mobo.
in getting the striker - what cpu cooler is best
Zalman 9700
Tuniq Tower 120
I was wondering which gave best performace - id originally planned the 9700 in my case with the striker extreme
I shortlisted the Akasa Eclipse/Mirage (same difference_ and Antec P180 - and the P180 was delivered this morning......
Try to make each and every day the best it can be.
