    Best Cooling Case for less than £100

    Hi,

    I was wondering if you good people at hexus could advise me on the case with the best cooling at around or under £100 - £75 or less is preffered;

    The case MUST have excellent cooling and fit an 8800GTX with an nf 680i mobo.

    Thanks

    Marcvs

    Apparently the antec 900 - (reviewed here http://www.hexus.net/content/item.php?item=7507 )

    Will struggle to fit in an 8800
    ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

    But that is if you are crazy enough to live with the bizarre design of it

    Akasa Eclipse, a couple of Sahrkoon 2000 fans and you will be sorted, the other option would be to go for the Antec P180 but from personal experience I would say the Eclipse is the better bet.

    The Thermaltake Armour is probably the best of the 3 - I'd still be tempted by an Eclipse/Mirage62 from Akasa though...

    I'd avoid that one. I've read about problems with their cases but not sure if that particular model is affected.

    Another vote for the Eclipse/Mirage.

    So as the air that's taken in can only be @ ambient temperature, the case does such a good job, that the air it throws out is sub-ambient? Right...

    Go Lian-li. Whatever you can afford. They make great, deep cases, and all-but-guaranteed to fit an 8800GTX in. Short of that, get a non-HTPC Silverstone.

    Yet another vote for the Akasa Eclipse 62.
    This case is such a joy to work with. It just has so much space and offers great cooling to boot.
    At 78 quid from Scan too I don't see how you can go wrong.
