Hi,
I was wondering if you good people at hexus could advise me on the case with the best cooling at around or under £100 - £75 or less is preffered;
The case MUST have excellent cooling and fit an 8800GTX with an nf 680i mobo.
Thanks

that was one of the ones I was looking at - if i can I might get the lianli a10 as that looks ot be pretty good bu it is more expensive
Apparently the antec 900 - (reviewed here http://www.hexus.net/content/item.php?item=7507 )
Will struggle to fit in an 8800
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/Produ...oductID=437051 This one is huge and has uber cooling , I should know, It produces too much airflow imo . I cant ware a T-shirt sitting next to it because I get frozen.
But that is if you are crazy enough to live with the bizarre design of it
Put a few more lights in a a380 and it is your own chaved up citron saxo in your bedroom.
it looks a bit odd - that is my only gripe
Akasa Eclipse, a couple of Sahrkoon 2000 fans and you will be sorted, the other option would be to go for the Antec P180 but from personal experience I would say the Eclipse is the better bet.
"I've heard there is a common problem with this item from forums" - If you read some forums they believe Elvis was abducted by aliens, doesn't mean it's true.
care to link me to anyone in particular

what do you guys think of this>?
will it fit an 8800GTX?
The Thermaltake Armour is probably the best of the 3 - I'd still be tempted by an Eclipse/Mirage62 from Akasa though...
And another
15 more posts and then you can get Akasa Eclipse-62 for £78.73 incl. postage from Scan's today's only.

So as the air that's taken in can only be @ ambient temperature, the case does such a good job, that the air it throws out is sub-ambient? Right...
Go Lian-li. Whatever you can afford. They make great, deep cases, and all-but-guaranteed to fit an 8800GTX in. Short of that, get a non-HTPC Silverstone.
Yet another vote for the Akasa Eclipse 62.
This case is such a joy to work with. It just has so much space and offers great cooling to boot.
At 78 quid from Scan too I don't see how you can go wrong.
i was looking at a coolermaster Centurin 532 - and then ill replace it with a lian li A10 when i got a bit more case (basically when I build someone in my familys PC!
