Question Anyone Own a Dell c600 Laptop.....? HELP

Rite I have just got one of these laptops on the cheap of one of my mates

Anyway the laptop itself is fine but... it didnt come with a cd drive

For those of you that own one of these you will know that...

The battery slot is on the left and the optical drive is on the right

However the optical drive can be taken out and replaced with a spare battery there’s a connector on the left for the optical drive and about halfway up on the right is the connector for the battery

Sorry for making this a bit long and probably a bit more complicated then it actually is

    My question really is...

Due to the battery connector on the right do you need to buy a special optical drive or could I buy this

I had a Dell C640 for a while, and I *think* it would fit. Not sure for definite, and haven't got the laptop anymore, so can't test it
