    Crashing after upgrade

    Hi folks and season's greetings,

I've just purchased an Asrock ALiveSATA2-GLAN Mobo, a Palit GeForce 7900GS, an Athlon 64 X2 CPU & 1 Gig Ram, hooked it up to my Western Digital 320m IDE Harddrive, LITEON DVDRW and Alpine EZ-Cool Case and everything seemed to be okay.

That is until one of the unpredicable system freezes that is. It happens mostly when I'm on the net but also when, for example, I'm playing a game.

Does anybody have any ideas before I whinge at the company I bought this gear from?

Many thanks and all the best for 2007,

    Nimble.

    did you resinstall the OS?

Also if you look in control panel -> administrative tools -> event viewer it should give you a good idea of what is causing the problems.

    Hope this helps

The system has frozen twice today and I've found these messages in the Event Viewer:

"The time service has detected that the system time needs to be changed by -2678410 seconds. The time service will not change the system time by more than -54000 seconds. Verify that your time and time zone are correct, and that the time source time.windows.com (ntp.m|0x1|192.168.0.2:123->207.46.130.100:123) is working properly.

    and another is:

    "Error code 100000d1, parameter1 00000001, parameter2 00000002, parameter3 00000001, parameter4 865674d4.
