    Supershanks, Deja vu?
    H?ll yes it's almost spooky.

I wouldn't think that the dividers will be that much different than the rest of the asus p5's

How long have u had your memory?? I had some G-skill La ddr600 TCCD in my old board which failed after around 6month most likely due to overvolting, i'm a bit paranoid now & always check vdimm etc with a multimeter.

have u tried write 2 prechrge delay at 12~13 you gave me that info, bios was taking auto of 11. Your lightly worse than i was, i never got a outright memtest failure

you've probably done it - swapping modules round i've usually found that 1 module is stonger than the other & runs best in 1st slot.
Not sure if it applies to ddr2 but it did with ddr.

    luck

Only had it a couple of weeks and it hasnt been overvolted or anything, mainly because the P5B couldnt overvolt it and thats why I went for the Comedyando.

Yep, I'm going for the timings recommended by OCZ, and if they wont run at those, at stock speeds, there's something adrift I would think.

Its got past 32 passes in memtest, which is what it failed on before, so thats ok.

Don't know much about ddr2 my experience test 5 usually sorted by extra volts. test 8 with timing adjustment.

u just cycling test 5 or running all.

    Edit
Have u tried xtremesystems Ocz Support
also DIYst OCZ Support(now supports all mobos)

Thats the thing, they are running at less than half their rated speed, so more volts isnt the way.

Tomorrow, Ill chuck it all back into the P5B and retest, I just hope these 2 boards havent killed the ram.

I posted on the bleedingedge support forum, which links to the ocz website but still no reply yet.

That's the thing that threw me with nine initially i was suprised to see that the vdimm didn't scale down that much
I found these links useful as they use(d) Micron D9GKX :-
OCZ EL PC2-8000 XTC (Stock Memory Ratios) - 2x1GB Double-Bank
    G.Skill F2-6400PHU2-2GBHZ - 2x1GB Double-Bank
    Corsair CM2X1024-6400C3- 2x1GB Double-Bank
I took the 533 settings & volts as a guide & was suprised when my ortos large fft run doubled from 4hrs at 4,4.4,12 2.2v to 8hrs at 3,3,3,6 @2.175v

    luck

Well, its an hour into memtest 5 at 3200 cpu 1000 ram, so fingers crossed. Anything over 1000mhz, either wont boot and ends in a cmos that wont clear, or it fails orthos/memtest. That is worrying.

    Hehe think it's everything crossed.

I've just restarted orthos after changing mt strap from 1:1 to 4:5 on my 3.4k 379x9 see how it goes.

    luck

    Ok, some progress.

About 5 and half hours of memtest 5 on 3200 cpu and 1000mhz ram with no errors, so thats a start.

Ill set orthos going and leave it over night.

It had done 3 hours before I went to bed, and I heard it restart this morning, so I reckon it went for about 9 or 10 hours. The odd thing is that it wont boot to windows at those settings now, and definately wont even post at the rated speed.

Still no answer on the OCZ forum, they mustnt work weekends.

Usually u get a few posts from others that's why i suggested the other ocz support forums there's maybe more chance of an answer if u post at each??

the windows thing is wierd, considering the timings were 8hrs orthos stable.
