you were quick, it does now.

volts is @ 1.4375, it can go lower and be stable which is what I am doing now. I moved my GFX card to the bottom slot to see if it helped temps and to see if it ran at x16 or x4. Also I have just got rid of the side fan/window and replaced it with a new shiny blue window which has helped, and I got a new 120mm fan ( this one http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/Produ...oductID=396719)
That's good going have tried 500 a couple of times & got nowhere but i think using multi of 7 on 6600 just about cripples the northbridge.
is that in bios or asus probe.volts is @ 1.4375
what bios u using 1001 is out now seems ok have just run 24hr orthos @9x400 to test stability after i rebuilt a couple of days ago after moddimg my case. Commando Bios 1001
the volts I said was in BIOS, probe always seam's to report it wrong or the other way round.
Where , can only seethe volts I said was in BIOShence the question.volts is @ 1.4375
BIOS version is 0803, all info is in screeny.
Well thought i'd post my last settings
ran above with new memory crucial ballistix 8500, after things got bumpy & i rma'd cellshock. Have since found that 2:3 strap is much easier to get than 4:5, tried the cellshock on this but they failed mametest , needing more voltage (2.3 v 2.2)were to close to the chocolate making temps. , but were close on the heels of crucial.
Am moving on to sunnier climes p5k(abit you where late again getting boards to market 1 day)
The commando i think has been a good board, but has it's quircks. I do understand the point made that it may kill ram from time to time, luckily , unlike clunk , i didn't get the free canary with mine. Bottom line ok/good but nay great
Hope things go well with you no72 you are the last commando
luck
A dying breed
Not quite the last Commando, my youngest daughter is running my (ex my) Commando in her system with an E4300 1.8GHz running at 2.5 Ghz... so she is delighted with such a quick machine, and the abit QuadGT that replaced the Commando is rock solid at 3.56GHz is running my system, so I am happy. I am not a hobbyist overclocker, rather overclocking for 'production every-day PC' performance so will be sticking with this system for some time.
Try to make each and every day the best it can be.
back from holidays
yep realise your daughter got your commando
What i meant was no72 is last user still personally using commando
