Plug ps2 into Dell UltraSharp 1907FP TFT

Is there anyway to connect my ps2 to this monitor? (Dell 1907FP)

the monitor doesnt have composite... but is there some sort of magic adapter that would do the trick?

    thanks.

Looks a good way to do it. But £40 is expensive! Is there not just a simple adapter?

there's no such thing as a cheap DVI to VGA adapter. you're thinking of DVI-I to VGA. DVI-I is a type of connector used on graphics cards, where both the digital pins (the array of pins in the connection) and analog pins (the plus-shaped section) are enabled. All the adapter is doing is changing the plug type - not the data itself. DVI-D (digital only) cannot be converted with one of those adapters.

for a reasonable analogy, consider those "worldwide travel adapters" that let you plug one country's stuff into another's - but don't change the voltage when required (e.g. US voltage differs from UK)

£40 is actually likely to be cheap tat. you need to look at spending closer to £100 for a decent VGA adapter (e.g. MicomSoft XRGB2+). alternatively, depending on the games you want to play, there's an official VGA cable - but it only works with a handful of games like Tekken.
