    Whay should i upgrade next???

After i sell my PSP i should have a nice pile of cash to spend on PC upgrades .

    My Specs:

Gigabyte DS-3, 965 chipset (not upgrading)
Intel Core2Duo E6300 (stock cooler, might need an upgrade?)
2x512mb corsair PC6400 DDR2 RAM (1/2gb more would be nice)
nVidia 7600GT (only just got it....)
    A cr*p 400W PSU
DVD Drive (no need for DVD RW)
320GB HDD (26 GB used so far... 23 of it for formatting for xp etc. )

I feel i need to upgrade the PSU, more ram would be nice... but not essential, but if i can afford RAM and a good PSU that would be nice

any suggestions? (saying i need different upgrade more is welcome too!)

    Thanks

edit!: also a new monitor woul be nice but my CRT can do for a while, links for a good monitor would be welcome too...though the other stuff more so

    thanks again

    If it's a cr*p PSU then I suppose that would be the sensible option....but that's dull. Get a 8800GTS!!!!!

    Decent PSU and some watercooling.

Flog the existing ram and get a 2gb kit.

I kind of agree with this You'll probably end up buying new PSU too but you have good excuse for doing that. BTW going for 8800GTX is even better choice in my opinon

for a psu, i would highly recomend the seasonic s-12 (600 watts), or if you wanted modular ive heard good things about the seasonic m-12, basically the S-12 but modular!

    so in summary go seasonic

the RAM/PSU upgrade path maybe suitable, but i found my monitor upgrade to be the one of most significance for the materialistic/poser!

    depending on your budget:

    http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/Produ...oductID=522896
    http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/Produ...oductID=503582

they're both widescreen, but if you're ever watching movies then there's no reason to get a 4:3. i bought an acer AL1916W around this time last year and was a great upgrade at the time, since it was the same price as a RAM or mid-range graphics card update for me, but gave me the most noticeable upgrade since i mostly watch movie/video.

    hope that helps.

Dull it may be, but not as dull as his face would be if his rubbish PSU decides to blow up and take out half his system with it!

Deffo get a nice 400W+ PSU. The PSU is often overlooked but it's the most important component in the system.

If you're going for a new PSU then buy the best one you can afford. Something like 700W would be more future proof I think. You can upgrade your spellchecker at a later stage.
