Wireless Mouse - Advice Please

I'm looking to get a wireless mouse but haven't a clue what to look for.

Don't play games so it's for surfing (mostly) and office applications.

Prefer to buy from Ebuyer as they have a big range and I'm owed a free delivery.

Any advice would be appreciated.

I thought the MX1000 was a gaming mouse?

The only gaming is the CBeebies website at the moment!

Edit: one other thing, it's got to fit small hands (CBeebies) as well as medium ones

Yup that'd be perfect - one of the complaints with the mx1000 was people with larger hands had their finger dragging along the mousemat - mine does, just, but its not a problem

The mx1000 has been considered too heavy for gaming, but I quite happily play CS Source Q4 etc with it, no worries. It feels as if its a quality product, unlike some of the cheaper wireless mice I've used. (side by side with a Microsoft Wireless IntelliMouse Explorer 2 it doesn't feel any heavier or seem any larger

Have had a look at the MX1000 and £30 is a bit too much to pay for a mouse IMO but thank you both for your opinions.

Got my Grandad one last year, good mouse but not a scratch on the mx1000 - feels plasticy in comparison. Have they got the wireless intellimouse 2 on there? that would be worth a look, slightly more expensive but much better. Neither are a scratch on the mx1000 though (mines 2 years old and is like new)

If you are using your computer on a regualur basis I think it's worth spending the extra on the peripherals, ie mouse, keyboard and screens.

I agree 100%. Always have recommended people don't skimp on monitor and keyboard but forgot about mouse.

The Intellimouse 2 isn't for left handers is it?

I'm ambidextrous with the mouse (used to suffer wrist pains so learnt to use with the left hand - fortunately thank God don't suffer from the pains anymore but still like to swap from one hand to the other).

Nope, its not

Neither is the MX1000 in the truest sense, though I have used it with my left hand before, and due to its more rounded shape, its still quite comfortable.

Had a look at Microsoft mice (becuase of the lifetime warranty) - can't believe how many mice there are now (including other makes) to choose from

I think the logitech has a half decent 3 year warranty or something, haven't checked though.

Its a fantastic mouse, even for gaming, and very very responsive.
