CPU temps

I finally got my Shuttle SN27P2 working...thank you for your help people!

Quick question - my CPU (X2 5000+) idles at around 48 degrees. Is this bad? What should it be at? I've used the Arctic Silver 5 compound, and the shuttle built in fan is set on "smart" mode.

I wouldn't worry to much about that particular chip running at that temp. As long as it's stable, you're good.

Tbh it should be fine. SFF PC's generally run hot because their cramped inside and thus the airflow can't be amazing - so it's to be expected but not to be worried about.

A combination of this and the fact you are in a SFF case (as EvilWeevil points out).
