    Question Corsair HX620W and a 8800 gts?

Hi there, just wondering if the corsair 620w psu will be enough to run a e6600 and 8800gts? Or is it recommended to go for something even beefier? If so can someone suggest a modular psu round the £100 mark?

My antec neopower decided to melt itself

    Cheers

I took a couple of readings under full load of my system (2 Rpator 150s, 2 DVD drives, X1950XTX, E6400 and 2GB of RAM along with some 120mm fans and the mainbaord. Running Oblivion a full tilt the system drew a little under 275w. Maplins sell an excellent little meter which allows you to read off how many watts your system draws and you can go for a PSU accordingly. I'm moving to an 8800GTX this week so it'll be interesting to see how much more or less it draws.

And I'm using the HX-620 too

heck yeah, that PS is one of the great ones. it will easily power that setup. just got my hx620 in the mail today actually

cant do anything with it since the rest of my parts are coming over the next two days, but the PS looks and feels tip top and high quality.
