those projected price drops are Q2 2007 - anywhere from April to end June.... I could not wait any longer - been waiting a year already and there is always "jam tomorrow" so I jumped on an E6700 from the USA ($530 which worked out at £274) - so better than UK price at moment and ends the wait and begins the play!
Try to make each and every day the best it can be.

What annoyed me recently was Intel's policy of not selling E6300 OEM's anymore.......now scan over xmas, was selling an E6300 retail for £93 exc and giving a free remote control car worth £5. So if Scan had e6300 oems a special offer might have been say £85 exc.

I very much doubt they're gonna cut their prices by as much as 40%, soon. It's probably gonna be a gradual process which will take place over a period of many months.

Same here. If you carry on waiting for price drops/performance increases, you'll be waiting forever.
