    Core 2 Duo Thermal Paste?

Before i install this thing. Just getting confirmation that the C2D doesnt require any thermal paste because it comes actually already applied?
I've checked the web but still abit unsure.

It's already applied to the heatsink, usually a couple of grey tacky strips if you want to check.

I've never used the supplied transfer compounds, a drop of Arctic Silver 5 is what I use these days.

It's on the heatsink already - you should see a couple of tabs. These are more than good enough for the cool running core 2 duo, and are obviously covered by the warranty - just follow the instructions

Agree with Kalniel, usually those pre-applied grey stuff is quite good. I only use AS5 after the second installation.
