    Advice on C2D system - £900

been 5 yrs since my last build so would appreciate some advice on the new system.
Ideally looking for an all round system that has potential for next few years .Use will be general desktop use as well as photoshop, autocad and other graphic softwares.
Gaming isnt highest priority, but occasional Total War etc. So in terms of GPU i want something with HDCP and can handle a dell 2407wfp.

I do not intend to do any overclocking atm, neither sli.

    Heres my list so far,

    CPU - Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 - £199
    MOBO - MSI P965-PLATINUM iP965 - £85
    CASE - Gigabyte 3DAurora GZ-FSCA1-AT Black - £82
    GPU - 256MB Sapphire Radeon X1950XT - £165
    PSU - 480W Tagan TG480-U01 Quiet ATX2.0 - £59
    RAM - 2Gb (2X1Gb) Corsair Value Select, DDR2 PC5300 (667) - £140
    HD - 320 Gb Seagate ST3320620AS Barracuda 7200.10 - £64
    OPTDRIVE- Pioneer DVR-111 - £22
OS- Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition SP2b - £56
    (all from SCAN)

    total £890 inc pp

atm, im mainly concerned with the ram, whether it is necessary to go for some better quality stuff or stick with the value as im not OC'ing atm.

The ram looks fine to me, if your not needing extreme high performance then why spend the extra?

I also expect the value will clock higher if you may ever need it.
