i just put all my stuff into a new case (change of case), and it seems my cretaive XFi doesnt wnat to play nice little sounds
i cant recieve any sound output from it, i tried playing a song, watchin a video online... nothing is playing sound
any ideas?

Have the drivers installed and showing OK in device manager?

the drivers were already on the hdd, sorry for the confusion :/
the Xfi drivers are fine, however the onboard audio is showing a yellow ? and the drivers are not installed..
could this be linked with that? or what about the FP_AUDIO could that not make them work possibly?
Make sure that the "Digital Only" output option isn't selected in the mixer control panel.

any way to test if the card is actually working?
thx for the suggestions shaithis, it was because i put the sound card in a differnt PCI slot :S i didnt know it makes a differnce.... but it obviously does
