As above...
It has to work with a netgear 108mbps router, and has to be low profile. I'd like to order tonight so please help me out!
I'm so fed up with overheating USB versions!
Thanks

Also, do all network adapters that work over the regular 54mbps speed work with 108mbps? Cos some say 125, one 138, *confused*
I think you have to get same brand to get them to run at 108mbps...but I could (most likely) be completely wrong.

ahhhh, the netgear one's are annoyingly and unnecessarily large. Anyone else got any thoughts on this? Or recommendations?
I would get netgear if your router is netgear
i need low profile one as i'm in a SFF case, and the netgear ones are too large...
Is there any advantage to having a MIMO pci-card compared to a normal G one? I have a 108mbps Netgear router residing at home...
Depends what you mean by normal G. I'd assume that for a MIMO card to work properly, you'd need a MIMO card, However, as for the OP, could you not use a USB adapter, else you are stuck with the Netgear ones for getting 108mbps, as all the companies use propriatory methods for faster than wireless-g, although the new standard, n is becoming more common, which if I recall is 300mbps, but I am likely wrong about this.
