    Mobo choice

    Hi to all out there can you please give me an idea of a good AM2 board sli or not i have returned one back to scan faulty MSI K9N SLI Platinum, was advised to buy a Gigabyte GAM575SLI-S4 now to be told this is not in stock any recommends so i can bell them in morning £75.00 budget,i have got 6400+ AMD CPU. thanks Alan.

    You should really get a AM2+ and by AM2+ I mean it is not it will support.

    Something like the GA-MA770-DS3.
    Gigabyte GA-MA770-DS3 AMD 770 (Socket AM2+) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard

    and yes it will work with AM2 processors.

    Thanks for the reply one thing that confuses me is what chipset is best to go for ie most up to date etc, i have an 8800gt card to fit also, dont think Ock will be at the forfront of my wish list just a good solid platform Alan.

    AMD 770/790X/790FX Chipsets are the newest out.
