A large fist sized lump of Plasticine squashed firmly over your existing mouse, will give you the impression of having an MX revolution, but at a fraction of the cost.

If you like the the MX1000 go for the MX revolution and the G15 is definitely worth it.

I forgot to mention that the MX is a great mouse, and that scroll wheel is brilliant, but no vista support (or there wasnt the other day when I looked). The only problem that I have with the MX is that if you use it on an icemat, it only takes a fragment of dust to change the smooth gliding movement into a really irritating scratchy noise. Fitting extra mouse feet helps a lot.

Oh and mine will not work on a glass desk without a mat, but that aside, its brilliant

I have an MX Revolution and an MX700 both are excellent although ive been having trouble with the revolution and vista rc2 it'll just stop responding for 2 - 10 seconds randomly. Extreamly frustrating if your playing an online FPS. There isnt any proper vista drivers for it at the moment though fingers crossed they are coming soon. Scroll wheel and erganomics are superb, you pay for it though!

While I liked my MX1000, I found the Revolution to be utterly pants as a gaming mouse as it felt very sluggish. A G5/G15 combo would be my recommendation.
