    HOLY MOLY!!! 8600GT to be released at $150!!!

    Damn! that is some aggressive pricing by nvidia.. thats gonna put even some more pressure on ati now.. but damn! I am now even more tempted to upgrade my PC this summer rather than delaying it for 2008 lol

    http://www.guru3d.com/newsitem.php?id=4834

    although im just hyping, x600's were always priced like this on release anyway. Im just overexcited on the thought of an e4300 + 8600gt lol

    yeah i might go ultra too but considering a budget pc..

    e4300CPU = £100 (ill expect the prices on these cards to go even lower)
    8600gt = £80 (ish)
    mobo = £80 (thats a good one already)
    2 gig memory = £100

    £360

    Oc'ing the CPU to 3Ghz is achievable. What a cheap rig this is gonna be.. for the performance I can get out of it its amazin. Crysis, UT2007.. Here I come! lol

    gimme other dx10games to play? *and thinks about having to spend for vista* premium or ultimate? ill have to wait for the verdict when it comes out and people get to compare the two OS's

    meh... i think most peeps will be wanting to go for the 8600Ultra rather than the GT. Especially with it having the extra shaders rather than just a clock speed bump

    nah there both 256 according to that. you looking at the 8300GT?

    i have to say tho. the fact they ARE 256 is a serious leap forward from the 76xx series. good time ahead!

    I've heard that the 8600/8300 are meant to get the 7900/1950 owners onto 8600/8300 cards
