    New Gaming Headset

So the mic in my beloved Plantronics GameCom 1 had passed away and I'm looking for a new headset.

I'm very tempted just to get exactly the same again but then I've heard good things about supposed '5.1' headsets.

    What's everyone's experience?

I love my Gamecom, seems that the mics get worse before the sound though!

You cant go wrong with the Speedlink majestic 5.1 headset. I adore mine. Had to send mine back to scan few weeks ago due to some small cracks on the control box, and they replaced it with the updated version which is solid as a rock(and looks awsome).

It has solid bass & music sounds very good through it, the mic is top quality & works faultlessly.

Im wearing it at the moment, but only to keep my ears warm, got the music running through my desktop speakers at the moment.
