    Just bought a dell!!!

    Iv just bought a dell and have an old printer that i wanted to use with it. my printer only has parralel connection and dell only has usb, for some strange reason. I had bought a pci parralel to usb pci card but it doesnt fit in the dell .. they really do live by there own rules.. Any ideas would be welcome

    LOL You can get an epson stylus color 600 or 640 for peanuts and colour and B/W cartridges for less than £2 ea.
    And it can produce good colour photos.
    Gotta a HP deskjet 820c as well, and found a way of getting cheap cartriges for that.

    It's just crazy buying a modern printer and paying £20-£40 for cartidges, unless you're a profesional.

    Me, I'm a Canon chap for inkjets. Ok, they don't hit £2 a cartridge, but unlike others they really do use every last drop of ink.

    And heck, if I'm printing, I don't want acceptable, I want the best. Call me fussy.
