    Whats better 2x 7950GX2's or one 8800GTX?

I have an ASUS P5N32-E SLI Plus MB and was wondering what was a better idea... 2x 7950GX2 in quad sli or just one 8800GTX card? Apart from the obvious DX10 capabilities of the 8800 card which would be faster?

The power needed and noise produced by two 7950GX2s, plus the fact that not everything supports SLi, would mean I'd go for the 8800GTX regardless of speed. It's not exactly a slow card...

EDIT: The 8800GTX is faster as it is anyway. See here.

8800gtx is much more cheaper and better than the 7950GX2's. they seem to be a confusing batch of graphics cards. as you would expect a 7950 card should beat a 7900 card but it doesn't. i dont think the drivers are out of beta yet for them too.

The 8800GTX is slightly slower than 2x 7950GX2's in quad SLI mode, but not a great deal. I've heard that people have had problems with the drivers running quad SLI.
