    Wireless Woes

    Hey people,

I am, once again, having trouble with wireless cards. The current one, the MSI PC06G, keeps dropping the connection under high transfer rates, especially BitTorrent and Battlefield 2. Can anyone please recommend a low-profile, preferably Atheros chipset, wireless PCI card that they know is reliable? This is driving me insane.

    Thanks in advance,

    Tim

I had problems with wireless in one of my daughters bedrooms, it was reliable - but slow....

I have replaced it with Devolo dLAN 200 AV (HomePlug) - absolutly brilliant - 120Mbs Upstream, 70Mbs Downstream - compared to 4-10Mbs with the wireless.

I am going to use them in all three daughters rooms, and only use the wireless for 'roaming' laptop use downstairs where signal is good.
Try to make each and every day the best it can be.
