the time will come my friend
just gotta hold the urge of getting one now. I mean time is flying quick. It's almost end of Jan, I saw on the news about something the gov set up called SOCA or something? It's almost a year old, and I remember it like it was yesterday.

    Cooling?

Are you sticking with standard stock coolers or will you be going with aftermarket ones as you have stated any?

i would change 1 or 2 things if it was mine

the mobo, never been a fan of gigabyte, not the best overclockers and I assume you are looking to do that with the e4300

and the psu - will it deliver what you need for that card? I like antecs on the whole though

i agree with the board. i dont like gigabyte either BUT! the board you have is not good for overclocking. you should get the DS3 version, as you see you have the S3 ver. as for the psu, if it has the amps he needs then its ok, but if hes overclocking the cpu, then he wont have much room to do so with that 8800 in there. if i was to choose a psu, i'd choose the Xclio 700w version from scan. it gives good watts per £ and it has a good efficiency, above 80% at all times.

as for the ram you've chosen. where can you find it for £146? the only problem with scan is they only have corsair ram , i know you and corsair guys are buddies scan but its starting to look like the intel and dell friendship. the only other ones i know of with GeIL are OcUK and MD. if theres another please tell me

ok how about dropping that monitor as its kind of big lol, plus ill be using it in UNI as im going next year and i doubt ill evn fit a 22" in the room!

I have also changed the PSU to a Corsair 520w - more reliable and looks alot cooler

And im Scared of overclocking ALOT so i decided to change to a C2D E6400 2.13 to be safe

And about the motherboard,i am always most confused about the motherbord and i was told to choose this by frriend. will it work with my new changes or are there any better solutions?

I am also thinking about just going for a 640mb 8800 gts as soon as they drop for around £230 hopefuly

    how about this setup:

Belinea 1925S1W 19" Widescreen LCD Monitor, £136 inc vat
    Intel Core 2 Duo E6400 - £140.87 inc VAT
    Gigabyte GA 965P-S3 iP965, S775, PCI-E (x16), DDR2 533/667/800, SATA II, SATA RAID, ATX - £66.73 Inc VAT
    GeIL 2GB (2x1GB) PC6400C5 800MHz Value DDR2 Dual Channel Kit (GX22GB6400DC) - £146.86 inc VAT
    NVIDIA GeForce 8800GTS 320MB 320-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16 HDCP Video Card - £177.94 inc VAT
Asus TA-210 Series Midi Tower (Black) - £25.84 inc VAT
520W Corsair HX Series Modular PSU - £69.29 inc VAT
    Western Digital Caviar SE16 320GB 3200KS SATA-II 16MB Cache - £61.09 inc VAT
Samsung SH-S182M/BEBN Black Lightscribe 18x18 ±R/RAM DLayer DVDRW Writer OEM UK + Nero - £19.95 Inc VAT
