    Kvm

Does anyone here have any experience buying/using KVM's?

I am looking to buy one to use with my 2 pc's (one desktop and one sff).

The monitor uses DVI inputs, as will both the graphics cards so it needs to support them. I also use a wireless keyboard and mouse, so is this going to be a problem with a KVM?

Do I need to find out from the manufacturers of the keyboard/mouse and monitor whether they will be able to 'hot swap' when using the KVM?

dvi kvm's are expensive and you wont be able to use a wireless keyboars and mouse i woulndt think also make sure it's mains powered as bus powered ones are a pain in the ass and most keyboards mice and mintors don't give a rat's ass if there swapped a copmputer can't tell the difference any way

Do you think it would work if i used the little DVI to VGA adaptors that come with graphics cards? Is there much degregation of the picture when using them?

I've managed to find that thing after a quick 'Google'. Hopefully can avoid paying that much for one, but it seems that is the type of product i'm after - just gotta find a cheaper one.
