Which ram??

Ok so I think I've got my motherboard chocie sorted if the price stay down (gigabyte 680i dq6) now I need some ram for it Ill be using a e6600 and need the best for overclocking so my two choces are corsair or super-talent, Ive read some good reviews about both som im a bit torn and Im trying to keep the price down as much as possible but still trying to get the best??

Depends which board you get, if you get the 680i board, it doesnt matter what ram you get, itll all be unstable I did read that some corsair was having trouble with the 680i, but I cant remember where.

The supertalent is definitely the stuff to go for, Micron D9GMH/GCT/GKX is all very good stuff and you're practically guaranteed to get it if you get the supertalent while the corsair stuff is just luck of the draw.
D9GMH is usually good for around 1000mhz at cas 4 with enough voltage and cooling.

Well I havent checked since I was looking to purchase but I think they keep changing chip suppliers with each revision, if you take a look at the DDR2 ram list - corsair have made 5 different revisions of that particular type of ram it looks like and only one of those revisions (version 1, the type that goes to reviewers) is Micron D9 stuff, the rest are promos, elpida etc.
