agreed, maybe buy a nice big Corsair PSU and get your keyboard with the change OR save the rest and wait to buy a new monitor

At least when you wrongly plug in a decent PSU (God only knows how, but it sounds like you'd manage it) there won't be any flames, unlike when this one goes and takes your house with it*.

I wasnt ignoring anyone...i know i need a new PSU....i just didnt know i needed one to run that keyboard etc.

You need a new PSU because if your 'my system' (see left) is all up to date, then 400w from an unknown brand PSU is possibly going to go pop.

So they are suggesting that you need to upgrade your PSU to keep your present system safe and sound.

LOL it actually must be quite hard to make a computer blow up. eg. you could put it in a oven or microwave for 2 hours. But why would you do that?

i do have a nice enermax sitting to my right...but...thats 20 pin and my mobo is 24, and its only 430W, so i mightr aswell get a 500+ for 8 series, maybe even a 600W.

I was running my system with an antec 380w truepower until today, so I would see the enermax as more capable than the unknown 400w one

seriously a new psu should be first on the list if you have some money to spend
