how old is your monitor? i have had problems with old monitors with new video cards ( by old i mean old not 1 or 2 years old )

put your old video card BACK in the computer and see if that works.. then you know if its your monitor ot the grapHICS card.. then you can go from there. when you put your old card back in go into the setting and change the refresh rate to 60.. then put the new one back in and try again

Double check the card is seated properly, also look out for any possible shorts i.e. bare components touching the case or whatever...

noob, what you need to do is start back at basics. disconnect all the hard disks, CDROM, CDRW etc drives from you machine, the lot, then just have your motherboard, 1 stick of memory, your processor (you have put thermal paste on the chip before you put the heatsink on it i hope)

And your graphics card put it down in there, you have connected the additional power adapter on the graphics card, stupid as it sounds i've known some people to forget that.

Have you got a decent PSU to run all that kit, i'd say you'd want at least a 465W enermax/antec, or a current popular choice is the 550w CWT unit.

    Woot The pc runs now!!

it was a defekt AGP-Port!! damn ASUS!!

well a TIP for that one who got the saim problem... try to conact a PCI Graficcard and watch if it runs with that... when yes .. than the AGP-Port is defekt..... and when u don't conact a powersupply to the Graficcard.. so a message comes at POST like "the Graficcard haven't been conactet to the Power-supply".

But with the BIOS that i have i can't increase the voltage of RAM's;CPU.... i only can overcloke in % ... like
Overcloak 5%;10%;15;....... what is that... does it increas the voltage of all components? well i gana watch for a new BIOS Update that support the overcloaking!

THX A LOT and a Happy NEW YEAR to ALL!!
