pricecheck, and a question

hello everyone.

firstly i would like a price check kind of thing done on my pc, for reasons i will make clear in a minute.

asus a8n-sli deluxe
opteron 146 ( good for 2.9)
1 gig corsair xms
7900 gtx
x-fi soundacrd
250 gig sata drive
dvd dual layer drive
cd-rw drive
hiper type r 580 psu
coolermaster waveaster case
lg 17" slim devices flatron monitor
g7 mouse
g15 keyboard
all fans are silex

right now, depending on what you guys think thats worth...

i would like to purchase a laptop that has playing game in mind. now the only game i really play is cs:s so its doesnt need to be that good, but obv i would like some kind of framrate, as my pc is good for cs:s.To play games well on a laptop i would need to use a mouse and on a desk.

This is fine because the main reason is so that when i visit my borther who also plays i can play there with a laptop and not have to watch :D, also i love the function of laptops and that i can take it round the house for all the other pc based taks like msn, music ect ect.

can any one give me some advice on what kinda brand to go for, as i know that i will have to pay the extra to get something half decent.

About £500ish? Some of that stuff is fairly high spec so maybe more. I don't think you will get enough for a decent laptop. Laptops with decent graphics usually come in around the £1200 mark.

yer anoying tbh, i mean i have seen some alptops with x1600 ati gfx, this would be enough for source?

i cannot warrant keeping both.

bah il get a loan and splash out :D

IMO it's probably worth about £500, maybe a little less. Depends if you'd be selling it as a whole or splitting it.

Edit, you could always buy a thermaltake lan case with a thermaltake 7"lcd. Just take your pc round with you!
