do you mean supports vista as in vista aero glass runs on it, or supports vista as in it has directx10 compatability.

if option one then then there is no problem
if option two then your stuck with the 8800 series till ati get there cards out and nvidia get the lower cards in the range out

Yeah, it's one of those wierd times in computing when it is hard to commit to buying anything.

Even the 8800's, nobody, to my knowledge, have seen them running a dx10 game, so it's hard to say go for that card, and there is little point buying a DX9 card like the 7950 either, cause its not gonna work with dx10. It's so confusing.

Direct x 10 games better be the mutts proverbials after all this hassle and anticipation!
