    is this a decent overclock ??

    first time i have overclocked and dont know if this is any good? if i have made a mistake??

    Not bad at all is it your first overclock? As far as I can remember, P4 chips don't like the memory running on a lower divider (i.e. 5:4 as you have it set now), as it hurts performance. 1:1 or higher is better, but obviously your RAM may not be able to keep up as it is only PC3200.

    Two very important things:

    1) Have you checked the stability? Use Orthos or something and run 12+ hours to make sure you don't have any corruption issues; an unstable overclock is a worthless overclock!

    2) Make sure you monitor your temperatures (NB, Mosfets, Case, as well as CPU). Especially important if you've been playing with voltage controls.

    yep my first, i can change to 3:2 on divider, but 1:1 wont work comes up with cpu unworkable,
    i havent checked stabilty with orthos, but its been running as normal last few days ,
    the temps are stable around 35 and max at 49 ish
    im using aero cooler and ceramique antec p160 case
