athalon xp 2800@2.552ghz@41ºf is 3ghz possible?

i can post pics if u want. got ahold of a coke despensing machine, gutted all the coke parts , put a pump in the bottomran two lines out the top through my water block.

is there any way to get it to 3 ghz? i went in the bios and set the multiplier to 14 (highest working possible) and got cpu cool and kicked the fsb to 180. i had to bring the voltages up on everything. can i go higher? any tricks yall know? btw its a gigabyte 7nnxp

Firstly, GOOD JOB!!! thats fantastic and can we see some pictures.

What volts are you on at the moment?

Also i think you need to get a new board, NF7-S are highly rated (have one myself.) As 180fsb is very lame. Boards now can go up to 250+fsb. That would easily get you 3ghz if you can get compnants running that fast...

I dont think there is anything you can do, gett a new board

If it's a Barton XP2800 that would actually be the highest on www.overclockers.com cpu database.
    http://www.cpudatabase.com/CPUdb/

If a T'bred it would be 4th with the other 3 2.900Ghz plus.

stepping codes are on the sticker on the chip itself here's a diagram as to where they can be found - Barton codes should be in the same place as the T'bred's in that diagram.

    What RAM are you using?

For that kind of job you want something like pc3700/4000 (466mhz) this means it is meant to run at 233fsb and it would be fine. Try to get something that is tight timings (cl2) as this will allow you to run it at slack timings at very fast speeds.

Is the gigabyte gigabyte 7nnxp an nforce2 motherboard. And what are the voltages in the BIOS?

    Things to do:
    Post some pictures
Post the code (get CPUID, or SiS sandra)
    Post the voltages
Get some really fast RAM (pc4000 would be great.)

seriously!! i have a damn pci card in there right now
turns out my freind can get 40% off WHOLESALE price on video cards only. so im either getting that 9800 or a fire gl x2 256 (drool...) either way i wont even spend $300!!

BTW i wrapped a sock arount the water block to absorb the condenstatio and put a small radiator in the way right before it enters the case.now the condesation is gone any more tips??? should i apply as an engeneer? oh yea btw i ditched the software program and found out that in freakin expert mode (on the bios) you can change the bios more easily Before, it only gave me 100, 133, 166 and 200. now it gives me everything in between!!! also the cpuid is 06A0 (zero six a zero) i was messin around and got it (slightly unstable) to 2.7. alsomy ram speed is 3200. is that my problem? phew... long post!!
