    citylink are kinda rubbish,

if your not in when (sometimes if) they deliver its very difficult to get the item from their depot as you have to wait a long time etc....

Ebuyer use both Citylink and royal mail to deliver. You cant specify when you buy though.

I have heard rumours that FedEx may have a domestic service within the UK in the not too distant future... Interesting to see how that works out as they are massive in the states.

agreed, the service at the depot is appauling, although i can handle that as most of the time i get free shipping from Scan.

If i had paid for the pleasure of there appauling customer service at the depot then i would have kicked off a fuss

but thats off subject, last time i used ebuyer (some time ago) it was city link who brought it

no experience of the depot, had to go one time but got HORIFFICALLY lost..ended up getting close to closing time so i gave up. it was redelivered the next day and left with my neighbour so that trip was a TOTAL waste of time

I know everyone knocks them and i believe there probably pretty ****ty, but they arent like that everywhere. Always arrive just before lunch and parcels are always fine.

iv got them coming to pick up an RMA (NSLU2 thats DOA) on Monday, so hopefully i wont eat my words.

if you can get the cpu from dabs they use Amtrak, dunno if that helps

I was about to come and reccomend you to go to aria, or OCUK as both of those didn't use citylink when I last ordered..but now I see citylink have infiltrated those online stores too!

Is there no-where left to buy cheap computer parts without shi..citylink attempting to deliver it?

I've never had a problem with CityLink for delivering things and I live out in the country (when I'm at home) and they deliver late afternoon only due to living in the middle of nwhere and being on the end of their run (and it's a 100mile roundtrip to fetch stuff from them).
I also live in the middle of Bournemouth and get all of my parcels in the morning (dunno what time as I'm never in but uni people sign for the parcels).

Only had damaged goods from Ebuyer themselves and nothing damaged from Scan, I'm glad that Scan use CityLink to be honest as they are a decent delivery company from my many many dealings with them.

    -=EDIT=-
OcUK stock some parts that Scan don't (mever using Ebuyer again as they have appauling service), like my Lian-Li PC7, only available at OcUK...but wouldn't buy anything else from them, well overpriced.
